Banzai Slip ‘N Six Pins

June 8th, 2009

We love this Slip ‘n Slide. The one we got was green and not the one pictured. The color didn’t matter to us. The colors and design are geared to both boys and girls, which is nice. My 2 boys age 2 & 5, and my girl, age 8 love it. They take the bowling pins in our pool, and use the “tent/canopy” in the pool, too. It is nice that the tent part isn’t attached permanently to the slip and slide. That way the kids can take it off and try and surf the whole distance of the slide with their (body boards/surf boards, which I purchased seperately).

A helpful hint- Fill up the parts that require water FIRST. The water is used to weigh down the sixpins and tent, and pool at the end of the slide. If you fill up those water holes last, you will not have enough space to hold water, resulting in less water to weigh down the pins, and canopy/tent. You want to weigh it down with as much water as possible to make it the most fun.

Sprig Toys Eco-Truck Dump Truck

June 8th, 2009

I love the wood smell of the eco-plastic used to make the toy and all the simple mechanical features. Our little truck driver loves the big dumping lever and pull-open cab. Durable for sand or snow and was a treat to have reduced packaging, which was only a little tray thingy which recycles quickly.
